Scarab (スカラベ Sukarabe) is the spirit of ancient bugs and the Guardian Ghost of Nakht Pitrah.[2]
About[]
These bugs were considered sacred by the ancient Egyptians, who thought the sun was moved by one of these insects as if it were one of their dung balls.
Oversouls and Attacks[]
Nakht can make his Over Soul with his guardian ghost while using his pyramid mask and uses the pyramid power to attract sunlight and recover Furyoku. The pyramid can also create a defensive barrier,[2] even though Nakht could not use it to save himself because he was instantly killed.[3]
Anime/Manga Difference[]
Due to Nakht's quick death, the scarab never truly appears in the manga or the 2021 anime series.
In the 2001 anime series, Nakht's spirit medium was a sphinx.[4]
