Hang Zang-Ching (ハン・ザンチン,Han Zan Chin, Zhang-Ching in the English version) is a fictional character in the manga and anime series, Shaman King. He is one of Hao's followers and part of Team "Tsuki-Gumi".
Appearance
Hang is a very obese Chinese man, with very long eyelashes as well as an equally long black Fu Manchu mustache. In his usual outfit, he is completely shirtless, exposing his large stomach and wears black pants and a pair of black Chinese slippers, with a white obi sash tied around his waist, grey armbands, and is almost always seen wearing a pair of small black sunglasses. His most distinguishable feature is a large red symbol that is tattooed on his stomach.
When in public, he wears a dark green Chinese military suit with a red scarf and hat. [1]
Five years before the Shaman Fight, he was noticeably more obese and had short light colored hair, and wore a Hawaiian shirt with black shorts.[2]

Zang-Ching once wanted to become a famous Chinese pop idol, but due to him being overweight, he was never given a chance
Abilities
Zang-Ching was taught the Fumon Tonkō by Asakura Hao.[3]
Spirit

His guardian ghost is that of a Giant panda named Shion-Shion(Xiong-Xiong in the English Anime) that Zang-Ching meets at a zoo. The golden gong that Zang-Ching uses as a medium was once Shion-Shion favorite toy.[4]
History
Past
Originating from Shanghai, China Zang-Ching was born on March 16, 1966. into a family of doctors. His school grades were great, but he had a terrible complex about his weight.[4] He joined Hao because he wanted to create a world where physical appearance wasn't important at all.
Shaman Fights Second Round
While the group was ordered to deal with a fleet of human warships they begin to wonder if they are doing the right thing. After both Peyote Diaz and Mohamed Tabarsi openly voice their doubt about Hao, Hang Zang-Ching ask them to stop because they scare him he is suddenly killed by Peyote's O.S. "Grande Phantasma".[5]
Invading the Plants
After Hao becomes the Shaman King, Zang-Ching is seen sitting with Bill and Brocken in one of the cars aboard the Soul Train inside the Great Spirit, saying that they also wanted to ask Hao for something.[6]
Funbari no Uta
Several years later, Hang Zang-Ching, together with Tao Ren and Bill Burton, build the Raitei Group(雷帝グループ Lightning Emperor Group) a large electronics manufacturing company.[7] 13 years after the tournament Hang Zang-Ching, Bill and Brocken Meyer, travels with with the current heir Tao Men to the Funbari Inn.[8]
Anime/Manga differences
In the anime series, he is seen most of the time with his team partner Turbine. He is defeated by Tao Ren in the final assault.
